Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Get up early in the morning to have breakfast and later, get a warm welcome our company representative who then will give you a hint on what you should expect on 3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari tour. After, you have a city expedition in Kigali where you will pay a visit to Gisozi genocide site for you to learn what happened during the 1994 Rwanda genocide, nearby local markets and historical sites. You will be served lunch in a hotel in Kigali and later, begin your 2-3 hour’ journey to Volcanoes National Park which is set in Northwestern Rwanda.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and visit the Twin Lake
Your day will commence with a delicious breakfast at your respective lodge and after, transfer to Kinigi park headquarters to be briefed on the safety measures to be followed while you are on search for mountain gorillas. It is today that you will be allocated a family to track in a group of 8 trekkers.
There are 10 habituated gorilla groups set for tourism purposes in Rwanda and they include Susa A, Sabyinyo, Hirwa, Ugenda, Umubano, Amahoro, Kwitonda, Agashya, Karisimbi and Bwenge. Because this is a strenuous adventure, you expected to come with some packed lunch/snacks and bottled water. Depending on your level of physical fitness, nature of the habitat and where gorillas are found, your trek may last you about 2-6 hours and this also includes an hour of magical encounter, photography and exploring their behaviors.
At exactly 8:00am, you will begin your search for mountain gorilla family in a group of 8 visitors and along the way, you will come across other primates, birds and several unique plant species. After this thriller adventure, get back to the lodge to have some rest and in the afternoon/evening, you may opt to pay a visit to the scenic Twin Lakes-Lake Burera and Ruhondo.
