Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe or Kampala to Kitgum
Get up early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast and later at around 7:00am, meet our company representative ready to embark on a Uganda wildlife safari to Kidepo National Park. First, you will drive to Kitgum about 6-7 hours (with no stopovers) and along the way, make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will track rhinos and this may take you 2 hours then proceed to Gulu for lunch prior reaching to Kitgum to check in at the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Evening game drive in Kidepo National Park
Enjoy your early morning breakfast at the guesthouse/hotel and after, embark on a 3 hour’ drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. Arrive early enough to check in at your safari lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon/evening, you will have a game drive. On a game drive, have a chance to enjoy incredible sights at diverse wildlife species and birds. Some of the wildlife species to look out while on game drive in Kidepo National Park include elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, hyenas as well as birds like ostriches, secretary bird, Abyssinian ground hornbill, Kori bustard. Day 3: Full day game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, meet your driver guide who will take you through an early morning game drive which may last you 2-3 hours. In your 4×4 drive safari car, set off via the Narus Valley which will reward you with astonishing sights at different wildlife species, especially elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, giraffes and many others. The Southerly Narus Valley is the only part in Kidepo National Park with permanent water supply (the Narus River) and several wildlife species confine here to drink water thus offering the best view over huge concentration of savanna dwellers.
Later, drive back to the lodge to have lunch and in the afternoon, you embark on a game drive via Kidepo Valley drive. While on a game drive along this track, don’t miss to enjoy the breathtaking sceneries, visit the Kanangorok hot springs as well as spot out ostriches, cheetahs or do your afternoon still along the Narus Valley.

Day 4: Visit the IK people
