Wake up early in the morning to have breakfast or have breakfast along the way and set off to Northern Province of Rwanda where Volcanoes National Park is found to catch up with other visitors for briefing on the guidelines to be observed while on search for mountain gorillas. You will be assigned to only one habituated family to trek in a group of eight trekkers and Volcanoes National Park is comprised of gorilla groups like Agashya, Hirwa, Amahoro, Susa ‘A’ and the Susa ‘B’ (Karisimbi), Ugenda, Bwenge, Kwitonda, Sabyinyo and Umubano. Once you come across your gorilla family, you have one hour to make your dream come true, take photos and learn about the behaviors of these massive primates.

On your 1 day Rwanda gorilla trek tour in Volcanoes National Park, you will also come across other species, especially bird species like Rwenzori double collared sunbird, red faced woodland warbler, Rwenzori Batis, dusky crimson wing, collared apalis plus several species of primates.
